The Oakfield Community Foundation, an affiliate fund of the Fond du Lac Area Foundation, has awarded numerous grants that support the core values of the Oakfield Community Foundation since its inception in December of 2005.

Fall 2006 $500.00 Oakfield High School Biology and Construction Classes – Jason Maurer & Paul Helm (920) 926-1028 For a phase 1 project to make a contained ecosystem observatory to be built by construction class.
Fall 2006 $500.00 Belle Reynolds Elementary & Oakfield Public Library – Julie Dilts (920) 583-3146 Funding to have an author (Peter Roop), visit the Elementary School and discuss writing techniques with students and also have a visit to the Public Library in the evening open to the public.
Spring 2007 $300.00 Oakfield High School Biology and Construction Classes – Jason Maurer & Paul Helm (920) 926-1028 Phase 2 of the ecosystem observatory. Phase 2 includes the purchase of animals, plants on other set-up needs.

Joint funding with the Oakfield PTO for “Dance Dance Revolution” which is an interactive dance challenge to be conducted during 3 PE class periods.
Spring 2007 $500.00 Oakfield High & Middle School Faye Barber Floyd, Art Teacher
Digital Electronic media equipment to be used for the photography curriculum & eventually newsletter, yearbooks, school webpages.

Fall 2007 $875.00 Belle Reynolds Elementary School; Grace Seager, Becky Doyle, Corey Rickert, Marsha Primeau, Karen Albert – (583-3146) Funds for Hands-On Program called “Adventures of Ma and Pa – the World of Laura Ingalls Wilder”
Fall 2007 $400.00 Belle Reynolds Elementary School Professional Learning Communities; Jen Harrison (583-3146) Funds to form special interest clubs that will meet during recesses to work on sharing, teamwork and good sportsmanship skills with students. Clubs are Arts & Crafts, Radio Theatre, Fitness Fanatics, Harry Potter, etc.
Spring 2008 $673.00 Oakfield School District – Band Dept., Beth Anne Mohr (583-4117) Funds to purchase recording equipment for the School District of Oakfield. Students will be able to more accurately evaluate their own playing by listening to the recordings.
Spring 2008 $610.00 Oakfield Public Library – Bev Haag (583-4552) Funds to purchase a Wii console, controllers and games. Both youth and adults of all ages in the school district and in the community will benefit from social interactions and physical exercise.

Paul Helm – Electric car project Funds to begin electric car project for High School Technology Program
Spring 2009 $300 Oakfield School District –
Karen Albert – PE Teacher Joint funding with the Oakfield PTO for “Dance Dance Revolution” which is an interactive dance challenge to be conducted during PE class periods.
Spring 2009 $900 Oakfield School District / Oakfield Public Library Author and Story Teller, Brian Fox Ellis, visited the Oakfield community and gave presentations to students of Belle Reynolds and St. Luke’s School as well as a presentation for all community members at the Oakfield Public Library.
Fall 2009 $998 Oakfield School District – Bob Ronca - Funds to send approximately (70) 7th and 8th Grade students to Discovery World in Milwaukee, WI. (Funds cover student & chaperone admissions and bussing costs.)
Fall 2009 $500 Oakfield School District – Jen Harrison Funds to provide bussing from the Oakfield Elementary School to and from the Belle Reynolds Woods.

Spring 2010 –
$1500-Distributed funds to the Oakfield Elementary School for a school-wide field trip to the Milwaukee Public Museum. Theme "Learning is an Adventure of a Lifetime."

Fall 2010-
$400-Beth Mohr and the music department were given funds to host an outdoor concert by the Fond du Lac Symphonic Band. Open to all students and the community with an opportunity for band students to participate.
$985-Will Manier - Purchase of (5) new Barska 3.5 inch screen 40x/400x/1600x digital microscopes for classroom. (Science)

Spring 2011-
$800 -Oakfield Public Library received funds to improve the children and young adult areas in the library.
$700-Lisa Holz- Received funds for the purchase of an iPad and iPad accessories to use with students in special education classroom to accommodate the student’s multiple learning styles.

Fall 2011-
$500- Oakfield Public Library to finish the young adult section of the library.
$1000.00- Oakfield Art Department- Received funds to help create a handmade mosaic mural to hang in the Elementary School. They are hoping to involve many resources from within our community. They would start the project in March with completion planned for April.
